Noemi Teresa Erna Bionda

Noemi was born in Preonzo, Ticino, Switzerland. She always lived in Ticino with her huge family. At the University of Fribourg, she completed her BSc degree in biology. The theme of her bachelor work was studying the Alzheimer’s disease on the Drosophila melanogaster in Prof. Dr Simon Sprecher’ lab. Now she is doing her MSc degree in genetics and development in Prof. Dr Stephan Neuhauss’ Lab investigating the genetic basis of the Circadian Clock in Zebrafish.

In free time she is a ski and swim instructor. She loves being in nature, sport, travel and enjoying her life with friends.
