Matthias is a Master’s student in Neurosciences at the University of Antwerp, where he also obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. Looking for interesting research topics online, he came across the Stoeckli lab, where he is now conducting his Master's internship and thesis as an exchange student. His current research focusses on investigating the role of exosomes in axon guidance.
In his spare time, you will often find him outdoors, hiking in the Swiss mountains, or immersed in music, as he is a passionate DJ and producer.
