Quillan obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Lausanne and his Master’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Zurich, where his thesis focused on investigating cerebrospinal fluid flow dynamics in zebrafish ciliopathy models. He is currently pursuing a PhD focusing on ciliary dynamics in zebrafish. His research combines experimental approaches with computational analysis to better understand the mechanisms underlying ciliary function. Outside the lab, Quillan enjoys drumming, cycling, bouldering, and brewing beer.
