Lena is from Zürich, Switzerland. She completed her bachelor studies in biology at UZH and now continues with her master studies in neurobiology. Since the basic courses of neurobiology she has been interested in the formation of the nervous system. In the Stoeckli lab she will investigate the protein Olfactomedin and its involvement in the development of the nervous system, axon guidance as well as its interactions with known morphogens. In her free time she likes to swim, dance salsa or read books.
