Almut Lütge studied molecular Biotechnology in Heidelberg, Germany. Already there she focused on bioinformatics in particular genomics. In her master project she worked on gene expression pattern in chronic lymphatic leukemia in the Huber lab at EMBL.
Afterwards she went for a short, but very valuable time to Trondheim Norway to work as a research assistant at the K.G.Jebsen Centre for Genetic Epidemiology on genome wide association studies (GWAS).
She came 2018 to Switzerland to do her PhD in the Robinson group focusing on methods development for single cell analysis.
