Wonhyung Choi

Joey (Wonhyung) is a Master’s student in Quantitative and Systems Biology at the University of Zurich. Originally from South Korea, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at Peking University, China, where he studied the role of transcriptional pausing during erythropoiesis. So far, he is working closely with Giulia, further developing his analytical skills and optimizing targeted single cell genomics protocols.

Outside the lab, Joey enjoys learning German and working out at the gym.
