Masha is a postdoctoral researcher with a background in synthetic biology and genome engineering. During her PhD at ETH Zürich, she worked on the development of CRISPR-Cas-based molecular recording technologies. Her research interests lie in gene regulation and cell fate determination, particularly in how transcription factors shape cellular identity. She is also passionate about creating new tools to study dynamic cell states.

Outside the lab, Masha enjoys traveling, exploring nature, scuba diving, and art.
